Provided phone, email support for hardware and software issues to Chesapeake Energy employees both locally and nationally. Monitored Chesapeake’s cell, LAN and WAN networks to ensure remote site access was available to workers throughout the U.S..

 

Seagate Technologies: Oklahoma City, OK                       June 2005 – October 2011

Senior IT Helpdesk

Provided phone, chat and email support for hardware and software issues to Seagate employees at 30+ locations throughout the U.S., the world. Delivered cross-platform user support for computers and mobile devices, including Apple products, to Seagate employees. Supplied support for Active Directory users. Improved processes and created new procedures using Six Sigma.

Analyized help desk contact data to determine best use of resources.Acted as Mobile Support administrator, overseeing technical problems with a variety of smart phone platforms including iPhone, Blackberry, Windows Mobile and Android. Served as Project Lead for new help desk projects, overseeing all aspects of the project planning and implementation. Monitored Windows, Lotus Notes, and Unix servers using HP Openview and escalate to second level as needed.

 

Worked closely with other departments to ensure they were SOX compliant. Trained the Singapore Service Desk to support applications and process changes. Generated Remedy reports using Crystal Reports and Execl. Utilized the Remedy Incident, Change and Asset methods to ensure quick resolution to IT problems.
